Thanks to all who made it out to my curator’s talk for the opening reception of Reconstitute. It was an impressive group of people who turned out for negative degree weather. I appreciate Gratia Brown and Wendy Thoreson for being the most fabulous participants to work with and helping me slog through the installation whilst being sick.

Juror for 2018 Student Art Show

Congrats to the award winners and honorable mentions at the Janalyn Hanson White Gallery in the Summer Student Show! (1st-3rd featured). What an impressive array of work to choose from. Thank you for the invitation to jury at Mt. Mercy University. I can’t wait to see what these artists produce for their thesis shows!

Visiting Artist and Juror

Thanks to everyone who attended the opening reception for the Student Juried Art Exhibition. Talking to students and meeting the other visiting artists was a highlight. Northern State University has some of the warmest and incredibly talented art faculty. They host FANTASTIC shows at JFAC Gallery and bring in renown artists for their students and community. I highly recommend visiting if passing through Aberdeen South Dakota.
